We've started to keep our eyes peeled now for apartments in Geneva. Glocals is a great source, as is ImmoStreet.ch It seems that if you want an apartment with 4 rooms (2 bedrooms, a separate living room and kitchen), you'll be looking at around the CHF 2600 plus mark. 

 Churches 

There are a number of English speaking churches in Geneva. So far, we have only checked out Evangelical Baptist Church Geneva, or EBCG for short. It's located in Rue Tabazan in the Old Town and services start at 11.45am.

The services are modern, with well-known worship songs. There are a variety of bible study groups you can join, as well as a group called YAGS for young adults. e

Other English speaking churches include:
** Westlake Church located in Nyon and Lausanne
** Crossroads Church which can be found just over the French border in Ferney-Voltaire 
** Holy Trinity Church Geneva
** ICF-Genève 


 La Poste 

Ah, La Poste. Not your ordinary post office. 

La Poste runs like clockwork. When you enter, you take a number slip from a machine- you don’t have to stand in a queue, you simply wait until your number appears. That means you can leisurely take a look around at what's on offer. As well as envelopes and bubble wrap that you might expect to find in your post office back home, there are books, quality notebooks, toys, recipe books- the list goes on!
